Wine Sales Representative – Richmond, VA

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for wine? Do you thrive on building relationships and expanding an already successful portfolio of clients? We’re looking for an experienced Wine Sales Representative to join our team and represent a curated selection of 700+ wines from around the world. This position comes with an established client base, giving you the opportunity to hit the ground running while growing the business even further. As part of our importer and distributor team, you’ll introduce clients to an exceptional range of wines, each with a unique story to tell.

What You’ll Do:

•  Manage & Expand a Strong Portfolio of loyal Clients – Step into a territory with existing, loyal clients while identifying new opportunities for growth.

•  Drive Sales & Market Growth – Develop and execute winning sales strategies to exceed targets and increase market share.

•  Build Lasting Relationships – Strengthen connections with restaurants, bars, hotels, and retailers, ensuring our wines remain a go-to choice.

•  Showcase the Experience – Conduct tastings, presentations, and educational sessions, bringing our wines and producers' stories to life.

•  Deliver Exceptional Service – Provide top-tier client support, resolve inquiries, and ensure seamless order processing.

What We’re Looking For:

•  Wine Sales Expertise – Previous experience in wine sales with an importer, distributor, or winery supplier is a must.

•  Industry Knowledge – Deep understanding of the hospitality industry, from wine lists to purchasing processes.

•  Sales & Communication Skills – A proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to foster client loyalty.

•  Self-Motivated & Results-Driven – Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and stay focused on growth.

•  The Essentials – Must be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and have access to a personal vehicle for travel within your territory.

•  Flexible Schedule – Availability for occasional weekends and evening events as required by the clients
