Position: Superintendent
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee high-rise commercial projects, specializing in curtain wall, storefronts, doors, and hardware installations. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the overall construction process, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.
* Supervise and lead project teams including subcontractors and suppliers.
* Monitor and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures.
* Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
* Schedule and coordinate deliveries, installations, and inspections.
* Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permit requirements.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a focus on high-rise projects.
* Proven expertise in curtain wall, storefronts, doors, and hardware installations.
* Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* OSHA 30 certification preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.
