Join Kuraray as a Quality Expert

If you have a flair for quality assurance and an eye for detail, Kuraray America is looking for a "Specialty Quality Systems Engineer" to join our dynamic team based in Pasadena, TX.

Your Role:

You'll be a key player in refining our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring our operations meet top-tier standards like ISO-9001, IATF16949, and GMP. Your expertise will be relied upon for statistical analyses, root cause investigations, and developing corrective action strategies. Aligning our processes with both internal and external quality requirements will be one of your main focuses.

Responsibilities:

• Quality System Enhancement: Oversee QMS implementation, document control, and participate in meetings to ensure KAI EVAL's compliance.
• Audit and Compliance: Manage internal audit schedules, support certification audits, and drive resolutions for audit findings.
• Continuous Improvement: Spearhead corrective action processes, enhance procedural compliance, and validate testing protocols using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Problem Solving: Guide root cause analysis sessions, develop corrective strategies, and apply statistical scrutiny to quality challenges.
• Training Facilitation: Craft and deliver training sessions to address system and procedural learning needs.

Who We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and experience in manufacturing quality assessments.
• Command over quality standards (ISO9001, GMP, IATF16949).
• Skills in statistical and process control, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and analytical acumen with an ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proven track record of fostering teamwork, innovation, and accountability.
