We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Telecom Test Engineer to join our team in support of our Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Enterprise Network Service (FENS) team at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center. The successful candidate will serve as a network telecommunications test expert within the FENS test and evaluation team.

The Senior Telecom Test Engineer will have the knowledge, skills and abilities as follows:

• Provide Technical leadership in the planning, investigation, design, implementation, and testing of physical and logical telecommunications solutions in the areas of voice, data and image transmissions.
• Lead and coordinate the planning, conduct and reporting of Time Division Multiplexing to Internet Protocol (TDM-to-lP) based communications integration verification Operational Testing for the various NAS systems throughout the NAS in conjunction with other test organizations.
• Support other Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) teams as required.
• Adhere to FAA Acquisition Management (AMS) processes.
• Conform with the Tech Center T&E Handbook
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

A Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 18 years of relative experience is required.
