Job Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll build and maintain cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure system scalability, security, and reliability while optimizing development workflows and supporting engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, SQS, etc.).
• Implement Docker containers and orchestrate with Kubernetes or AWS ECS.
• Use Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Monitor systems with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
• Enforce security and compliance (IAM, VPC, SOC 2).
• Optimize performance, cloud costs, and system efficiency.
• Design disaster recovery, backups, and high availability strategies.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and product managers for a secure, scalable environment.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS experience (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, SQS, IAM, VPC, etc.).
• Proficient in Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes or AWS ECS.
• Skilled in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD).
• Familiar with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or Go for scripting.
• Experience with VPC, VPNs, Load Balancers, and CDNs.
• Able to optimize cloud costs.
• Proficient with Git for version control.
