Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Engineer with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs) in the MedTech, Healthcare, or Life Sciences domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI solutions using state-of-the-art LLM frameworks and cloud services. With a combination of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and business acumen, this role requires a thought leader skilled in leveraging AI to optimize and innovate business processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• NLP and Generative AI : Lead the development and optimization of NLP and Generative AI solutions, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored for MedTech and Healthcare applications.
• LLM Application Development: Build scalable, production-ready applications using LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and integrate off-the-shelf LLM services like Azure OpenAI.
• Business Optimization through AI : Identify new opportunities to enhance business operations through analytics, AI/ML, and lead use case prioritization to align AI efforts with business goals.
• Model Fine-Tuning and Customization: Design, fine-tune, and optimize LLMs, adapting NLP systems for specific business needs and improving model performance.
• Cloud Architecture and Deployment : Architect and deploy AI/ML models on Azure Cloud Services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration.
• Technical Development and Testing: Develop AI solutions using Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch; deploy AI/ML components as REST APIs on cloud or Kubernetes platforms, ensuring rigorous testing for stability and performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI projects and integrate AI capabilities into larger business applications.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate or Doctorate degree in Information Technology, Neuroscience, Business Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field, with a specialization in NLP preferred.
• Experience : 8-10 years of experience in Data Science, AI, and ML development, with a focus on generative AI and LLMs within the MedTech, Healthcare, or Life Sciences domain.
• Large Language Model Expertise: Hands-on experience with LLM design, fine-tuning, and optimization.
• Application Development: Proven track record in building and scaling applications using LLMs and associated frameworks.
• Cloud Computing: Extensive experience in cloud computing, especially Azure Cloud Services.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, machine learning, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and UNIX/Linux environments.
• AI Deployment: Skilled in deploying AI solutions as REST APIs on cloud or Kubernetes, with proficiency in testing and validating AI components.
