About the Role:

As a Public Relations & Communications Assistant , you will play a vital role in developing and executing strategies that increase visibility and foster strong relationships within local communities. Working closely with the PR team, you will help ensure the success of nonprofit campaigns and events, contributing to meaningful causes that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on PR Campaigns: Work alongside the team to create and implement public relations strategies that promote nonprofit campaigns and events, driving visibility and community engagement.
  • Event Representation: Represent Maverick Solutions at various events, supporting public-facing activities and ensuring effective communication to enhance the success of each event.
  • Engage Attendees: Interact with event attendees to raise awareness, foster excitement around fundraising campaigns, and encourage participation.
  • Promote Campaigns & Stories: Share compelling stories about nonprofit causes, highlighting campaign goals and motivating attendees to get involved and contribute to fundraising efforts.
  • Collect Testimonials & Feedback: Gather feedback from event participants to assess the success of campaigns, improve future initiatives, and boost client satisfaction.
