Position Overview:

Our Award-Winning Client is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join their team in Henderson, NC . This full-time role involves providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient rehab, and acute care settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes through individualized treatment plans and high-quality therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care across outpatient, acute, and inpatient rehab settings.

  • Perform evaluations, treatments, and discharges, ensuring medical necessity and patient progress are documented accurately.

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and rehab staff to develop and implement patient-specific care plans.

  • Independently manage a busy caseload, seeking assistance as needed.

  • Submit insurance prior authorizations as required.

  • Assist in scheduling weekend, holiday, and vacation coverage in coordination with the Lead Physical Therapist.

  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and monthly team meetings.

  • Ensure compliance with licensing, continuing education, and documentation standards, including CMS, Joint Commission, and Medicaid regulations.

  • Contribute to hospital-wide quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Required:

    • North Carolina Physical Therapist License (or ability to obtain).

    • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.

    • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification with the American Heart Association .

  • Preferred:

    • Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) certification.

    • Experience in acute and/or inpatient rehab settings .

    • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients.

    • Time management skills and efficiency in documentation.

Skills & Technical Expertise:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy services in outpatient settings for various diagnoses.

  • Experience with acute and inpatient rehab settings.

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.

  • Proficiency in insurance prior authorizations and CMS documentation standards.

  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams .

Sched : 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.
