Our Award-Winning Client is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join their team in Henderson, NC . This full-time role involves providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient rehab, and acute care settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes through individualized treatment plans and high-quality therapeutic services.
Provide direct patient care across outpatient, acute, and inpatient rehab settings.
Perform evaluations, treatments, and discharges, ensuring medical necessity and patient progress are documented accurately.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and rehab staff to develop and implement patient-specific care plans.
Independently manage a busy caseload, seeking assistance as needed.
Submit insurance prior authorizations as required.
Assist in scheduling weekend, holiday, and vacation coverage in coordination with the Lead Physical Therapist.
Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and monthly team meetings.
Ensure compliance with licensing, continuing education, and documentation standards, including CMS, Joint Commission, and Medicaid regulations.
Contribute to hospital-wide quality and performance improvement initiatives.
Required:
North Carolina Physical Therapist License (or ability to obtain).
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification with the American Heart Association .
Preferred:
Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) certification.
Experience in acute and/or inpatient rehab settings .
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients.
Time management skills and efficiency in documentation.
Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy services in outpatient settings for various diagnoses.
Experience with acute and inpatient rehab settings.
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
Proficiency in insurance prior authorizations and CMS documentation standards.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams .
Sched : 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.
