Position Summary:

American Equipment Holdings is a leading provider of industrial equipment and services, specializing in overhead cranes. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative in Salt Lake City.

In this role, one of the primary responsibilities is to push Services, Repairs and Inspections of Overhead Crane systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell services, repairs, and inspections of overhead cranes to new and existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Conduct in-depth product presentations and demonstrations to highlight the benefits and features of our services.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, set targets, and achieve revenue goals.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate service and repair activities for customer orders.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the industrial equipment or related industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in sales tools to track leads, sales activities, and customer information.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally to meet with customers and clients.

Work Environment

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel by car to meet with customers in industrial/warehouse settings
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, office and travel role; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role may include traveling to potential customers and vendors.

Comp for this role is $60,000 + 5% Gross Margin
