Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Manager

Bellefontaine, OH

Our client, a leading global automotive manufacturer, is hiring a Manager AR & AP for their Bellefontaine facility. Managing a team of 9, this professional will oversee receivables and payables in a centralized Shared Service Center supporting multiple sites.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor the timely processing of invoices to customers using KPIs.
• Ensure timely collection of payments from customers and address customer deductions.
• Assist with SAP processes to ensure transitions accurately and efficiently.
• Review and reconcile supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Reconcile cash and related accounts to general ledger.
• Liaison with suppliers and customers ensuring timely responses.
• Ensure AP and AR teams follow internal policy, procedures and accounting principles.
• Support internal and external auditors with accurate reports and responses to inquiries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred or equivalent experience
• 5+ years relevant experience in AR & AP
• 3+ years managing and coaching a team
• SAP highly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
• Proficient in basic accounting principles
