Job Description: Maintenance Technician

Location: Ontario, CA

Salary: $25 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on building equipment and systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
• Conduct inspections of premises to identify problems and necessary repairs.
• Carry out tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and general repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain an organized workspace and inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Collaborate with other staff members to address and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
• Assist in the preparation of buildings for inspections and audits.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Hands-on experience with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with various building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is an advantage.
