Opportunity at YRV Law : Immigration Paralegal

YRV Law offers representation in the areas of family immigration, removal defense, and naturalization. The firm is committed to excellent legal work and attentive client care.

Role Overview: As an Immigration Paralegal, you will directly support our attorneys, playing a critical role in managing a diverse caseload. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage deeply with immigration law, honing skills in case preparation, document management, and client interaction. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential, enabling us to better serve our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of immigration applications, petitions, briefs, and court documents.
• Organize and manage client casework, including gathering and compiling necessary documents.
• Enter data into immigration forms and compile filings for attorney review.
• Draft and prepare correspondence for attorney approval.
• Monitor case progress, manage deadlines and status updates diligently.
• Maintain and organize client files to the highest standard.
• Provide Spanish language support, enhancing our client communication.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Two years of college or equivalent work experience is required.
• Paralegal certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in immigration law is advantageous but not a requirement.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills.
• Proficiency in database and calendar management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
