We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead the In-App Messaging (IAM) experience to unlock a new source of acquisition, promoting new upsell touch points and educating customers on new content types across all clients (Android, iOS, FireTV, Webplayer and Fire Tablet). You will be responsible for optimizing the sign-up funnel and owning the experimentation roadmap to drive goals across acquisition and engagement. You are a data-driven marketer and a leader who’s particularly energized by driving aggressive growth and looking for new areas to learn and scale. Success in this role requires strategic and analytical thinking in the marketing space, where you will build ambitious plans and test white space opportunities. You will identify how to acquire customers at scale, while ensuring quality listening experiences and retention. Your mission is to help Amazon Music scale globally and work cross-functionally across growth, product, promotions, and BI to drive the growth of Amazon Music. Overall, you will be entrepreneurial, push boundaries and execute breakthrough campaigns.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive In-App Messaging (IAM) strategy, testing, and execution globally for Amazon Music across the customer lifecycle to support acquisition, engagement, and retention goals
- Develop requirements for IAM channel and marketing tools with product and tech teams
- Define experiment roadmaps, managing multivariate and A/B tests to optimize new and existing placements
- Set KPIs, establish reporting, and review IAM measurement and performance with BIEs and Data Science
- Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance business reviews, showcasing insights and results to global stakeholders and executive leadership
- Establish ongoing creative refresh and optimization program with UX/design and copy team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs and influence executive leadership
- High attention to detail, across both business and technical domains
