What is the ANC?

The Animal Neurology Center (ANC) is the nation’s premier veterinary neurology/neurosurgery center based out of St. Louis. We provide the highest level of care for dogs and cats with seizures, weak legs, severe pain and all conditions of the brain and spine. We are respected for our compassionate care and client communication, ensuring that our pet parents feel heard and supported in their time of greatest need.

Job Title: Client Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Client Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, putting our pet parent’s mind at ease as their dog or cat is treated for conditions of the brain and spine. Your support and guidance is essential to ensure they feel supported and heard. You will record the historical progression of their pet’s condition, aid them in medical and financial inquiries, and help them tackle challenges in the logistics of their pet's care. Essentially, you will be their advocate and guide as their pet receives extraordinary state-of the art care unique to our hospital. For the committed team member, advancement into a leadership position is attainable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet our families and guide them through the admission process.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing general questions and facilitating connections with our veterinary professionals
  • Collect general histories and progress from our clients about their pets.
  • Manage the calendars and financial intake, including facilitating financing aids.
  • Edit and maintain medical records generated by our doctors and their computerized scribes.
  • Our clients enjoy the comfort of our reception lounge as they’ve often travelled long distances for our highly sought after care. You will protect the quality of that experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer service or business-related education is a plus, particularly in the hospitality sector
  • Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing role preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to identify and resolve conflicts and handle challenging situations with professionalism
  • Excellentent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and customer service software
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to client satisfaction

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with regular office hours, 40 hours a week, days and times to be determined
