Position Overview:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join their team. This role requires an analytical mind with the ability to deliver insights and financial guidance to support business decisions. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in managing and analyzing financial data to aid in forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive forecasting and budgeting processes to support business planning.
• Manage cash flow, ensuring effective allocation and usage of financial resources.
• Prepare and analyze P&L statements, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Generate financial reports and present findings to management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
• Engage in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) work to enhance business performance and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and support cross-functional projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial reporting and analysis.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data and records.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with FP&A and financial reporting systems is a plus.
