The Executive Assistant is responsible for the support and right hand to the Global Product Management and Strategy leaders to provide all executive administration support and lead or support selected projects and activities for those organizations. The role will support the both executives including calendar management/ownership, travel arrangements, expense reporting, correspondence, document management services, records management, budget monitoring, office supply orders, targeted projects, capturing meeting actions and follow ups and arranging special events.
This position is part of the Product Management and Strategy teams and will be located in Sunnyvale, CA. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Daily administrative support including, but not limited to management of extremely active calendars; operating as a first point of phone contact and managing that experience; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is at times confidential; arranging travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
Responsible for all logistics of meetings for executives supported, and direct reports as needed, including conference room reservations, teleconference, videoconference, food ordering and associated meeting logistics.
Work with outside vendors as needed to ensure that invoices are being processed and paid on a timely basis and work with SAP system to track purchase orders and invoices in the system.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High school degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years administrative experience supporting at the C-level.
Excellent computer skills: Outlook (e-mail and calendar management), Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.
Maintain highly sensitive information that may involve financial data, personnel discussions, and/or business strategy of a highly confidential manner.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
BA degree is a plus
Processing SOWs
Demonstrated ability to respond with professionalism in verbal and written communications at all levels of the organization

The hourly range for this role is $48-50/hr. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
