Job Title: Copy Editor

Location: Malden, MA 02148

Duration: 7+ Months (Potential for Extension)

Position Summary:
The Copy Editor will work closely with the curriculum team to meticulously review lesson plans, student materials, and slide decks. This role ensures all materials align with established style guidelines and criteria, correcting any inconsistencies or errors to uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Review PDF documents, lesson plans, student materials, and slide decks, ensuring consistency with existing criteria and style guidelines. Correct all identified errors.
• Edit and proofread Word/Google Docs, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and PDFs for style, grammar, and consistency.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy across all materials, meeting deadlines and adhering to project guidelines.

Required Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear, professional written communication in English, with mastery of standard written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Google Docs/Drive.
• Prior copy editing experience is preferred.
