Job Description

We’re looking for a Content Creator who knows how to turn ideas into stories that resonate, inspire, and move people to act. Whether it’s a video script, a photo caption, a short-form reel, or a long-form feature—if you live and breathe storytelling, this is your space.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging photo, video, and written content for social, web, email, and digital campaigns
  • Capture and edit original content on-site or in the field (events, interviews, scenes)
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, and client teams to bring stories to life
  • Organize and manage digital assets for reuse and cross-platform distribution
  • Stay current with social trends and apply them creatively within client brand guidelines

Minimum Requirements:

Formal Education and Work Experience:

  • Skills in photography, video production, or editing (mobile or pro gear)
  • Experience interviewing community members or clients
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field
  • Experience in paid social media and boosting campaigns
  • 3 years of progressive work experience in marketing, communications and public relations
  • Work experience in an agency desirable
  • A record of increasingly greater career responsibility and accomplishment

Technical Skills:

  • Detailed command of written English, word choice, tone, grammar, punctuation, spelling
  • Demonstrated experience with social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn
  • Use of project management systems such Asana and Workamajig

Also Required:

  • Keen attention to detail, organization and excellent math and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Both leadership and team player qualities are essential
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, youthful energy but mature mindset
  • Familiarity of local history, culture and marketplace a must
  • Ongoing love of learning highly desirable
