Construction Superintendent
Duluth, MN | Direct Hire | $80k-$136k

Konik is partnered with a growing commercial construction company who is adding a Construction Superintendent to their team.

Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site construction activities while upholding a culture of safety through incident and injury-free (IIF) practices.
• Review and maintain project plans, specifications, and documentation; ensure up-to-date records are accessible on site.
• Schedule tools, equipment, and materials; oversee weekly safety toolbox talks and on-site training.
• Monitor trade contractor performance, enforce quality standards, and build positive working relationships.
• Manage jobsite productivity, scheduling, and reporting; oversee cost codes, budgets, and production units.
• Conduct inspections and ensure regulatory compliance, quality control, and safety implementation.
• Collaborate with pre-construction teams, participate in constructability reviews, and assist in project close-out procedures.

Construction Superintendent  Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field with 6+ years of experience; or high school diploma with 10+ years of field experience.
• Proficient in Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and construction project management tools.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
• Proven ability to lead safety initiatives; OSHA 30 certification required or ability to obtain.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and working in varied climate conditions.
• Willing to travel and work long-term on out-of-town assignments as needed.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
