Job Description

Salary Range: NYS Minimum Wage - $35/hr.

The Maintenance Department is seeking a Mechtronics/Electrical Maintenance Technician to work with the team to assist in general mechanic maintenance, repair on all plant machinery, including Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC), Robotic and Automation Equipment. CNC/Robotics Mechanics Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalency required
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Prior applied trades AND/OR technical training (BOCES, Metal Working Inst., College) is required
• Leadership skills with good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with others, take direction from leads/supervisors/trainers and contribute positively to the team
• Strong math skills and ability to read blue prints as well as use precision measuring and diagnostic tools required
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to learn and maintain skills necessary to be successful in position

CNC/Robotics Mechanics Responsibilities:
• Perform electronic, electrical, and general mechanical maintenance, repair, rebuild and installation on all types of machinery
• Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, motors, programmable controllers
• Maintain critical part dimensions
• Ability to be proactive and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
• Ensure assignments are completed in a timely manner to ensure no delays in workflow
• Attend periodic on or off site training for continuing education
• Work individually as well as in a team environment to complete work tasks
• Versatile and willing to help the team while also putting safety as a top priority

Day Shift: 7:00am-5:00pm
Night Shift: 9:00pm-7:00am
7.5 Hours of overtime per week
