About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Associate Attorney to join the hive on behalf of our client, a well-established boutique law firm in Pasadena. In this role, you'll be responsible for handling various aspects of civil litigation with a focus on Medical Malpractice, General Liability, and Employment defense. If you're passionate about litigation and have a knack for managing complex cases, we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Draft and Review: Draft, review, and respond to discovery documents and motions.
• Deposition Handling: Attend, take, and defend depositions, including both fact and expert witnesses.
• Research & Summarization: Conduct legal/medical research and summarize meetings with expert witnesses, as well as various records.
• Court Representation: Attend court hearings and argue motions as necessary.
• Trial Preparation: Assist in trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and motions in limine.
• What You Bring:
• Education: Graduate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on civil litigation (plaintiff or defense).
• Bar Membership: Member of the California Bar in good standing.
• Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills, ability to manage complex caseloads, and work independently with minimal oversight.

• Medical Malpractice Interest: Interest in medical malpractice litigation preferred.
• Litigation Experience: Prior experience in medical malpractice or civil litigation defense is a plus.
