Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and customer service-focused Car Wash Attendant to join BMW of the Main Line in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time role with competitive salary that offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-respected auto dealership. The Car Wash Attendant will be responsible for safely and effectively washing luxury vehicles with an automatic car wash while maintaining quality. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge cleaning a variety of vehicles with pre treatment chemicals prior to the automatic carwash. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary of $15-$20/week, paid biweekly. Health coverage offered; other benefits to be discussed in an interview. Responsibilities

Inspect and examine vehicles for preexisting damage before beginning washing and vacuuming,
Clean vehicle exteriors and interiors
Vacuum carpets, upholstery, and floor mats
Follow detailed instructions regarding washing, detailing
Operate and maintain detailing equipment, including buffers, steam cleaners, waxers, and power washers
Ensure customer satisfaction with the results of the detailing process
Restock detailing supplies and complete detailed cleaning records
Keep workstation clean and organized
Comply with all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

Must have valid driver’s license
Previous car wash experience and knowledge is preferred
In-depth knowledge of detailing and cleaning a variety of vehicles
Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers
Proficient in use of detailing tools and equipment
Good physical strength and endurance
Ability to bend and squat and stand for extended periods
Flexible to work unusual hours when needed
Willingness to learn and develop further knowledge and skill
