Bookkeeper - QuickBooks

We are a strong and stable service company seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. 

Military background  preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
• Process payroll and maintain employee records
• Prepare and file monthly and quarterly tax returns
• Maintain accurate financial records, including the general ledger and financial statements
• Provide regular financial reports to management
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Manage and reconcile inventory accounts
• Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a service-based company
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented and able to identify errors and discrepancies in financial records
• Familiarity with GAAP and other accounting principles
• Military background preferred (someone who was in the military regardless of MOS, that is currently doing Bookkeeping). 

Salary, $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits - medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
