Position: Armed Security Officer.

Job Description: 

• Part-Time. Friday, Saturday, Sunday (9 pm to 5 am)
• Location: Halsted Street SSA, Chicago
• Pay Rate: $18-20 Hourly

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced Armed Security Officers to work as SSA Officers on a detail, team of 6 Officers. Security Officers that have the desire to be successful and demonstrate great leadership skills, great organizational skills, are detail-oriented, articulate, and exemplify excellent customer service.

Candidates must also be available to work weekends and holidays. Must have reliable transportation. Also, must have a reliable working cell phone. 

About the Job:

• We are looking for a fit and attentive Security Officer to ensure that our client's property and assets are protected.
• The Security Officers are responsible for patrolling the area, maintaining a visual deterrent while enforcing our clients' policies and state law.
• Arrest and detain in the event of a crime happening in your presence.

Security Officer Responsibilities:

• Make guests aware of rules that must be adhered to.
• Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property.
• Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs.
• Report to supervisors regularly.
• Record any suspicious activities with the supervisor.
• Maintain daily activity reports.
• Write incident reports as necessary.
• You must be alert and professional. 

Security Officer Requirements:

• A high school qualification or equivalent.
• State PERC License, FOID, and Armed 230 Training.
• Basic first aid skills would be advantageous.
• Physical strength and fitness.
• Prior experience as a Security Guard would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail.
• Must have a firearm, duty belt, and all your armed licenses up to date.
• Must have a working phone that is NFC compatible.
• Must have open availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (9pm to 5am).
