Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Air and Ocean Export Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing full-cycle export operations and be well-versed in global trade lanes. This role requires expertise in handling various commodities, including dangerous goods, perishables, dry ice, machine parts, ceramics, paintings, and general cargo. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while delivering exceptional customer service

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full export process from pricing to billing, ensuring efficient and compliant shipments
• Oversee designated accounts and trade lanes, providing tailored logistics solutions
• Coordinate air and ocean export shipments across global trade lanes, including Asia, the Middle East, India, the Caribbean, Europe, and South America
• Ensure compliance with TSA regulations, industry standards, and Importer Security Filing (ISF) requirements
• Handle dangerous goods (DG) shipments in accordance with international regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and regulatory bodies to facilitate seamless shipments
• Utilize CargoWise and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, tracking, and reporting

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years of air and ocean export experience
• DG Certified (Hazmat) with experience handling hazardous materials
• Strong knowledge of TSA regulations and international export compliance
• Experience managing designated accounts and trade lanes independently
• Excellent language and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with global partners
• Proficiency in CargoWise and Microsoft Office Suite
