We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our client's team at a leading insurance firm. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on pricing for reinsurance contracts while leveraging your coding skills in VBA, SQL, or Python. The position is based in New York City and follows a hybrid work model, providing flexibility and a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pricing analysis for reinsurance contracts.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models using VBA, SQL, or Python.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate pricing and risk assessment.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting reinsurance pricing.

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of actuarial experience.
  • Passed 1-3 actuarial exams.
  • Proficiency in VBA, SQL, or Python preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
