Position Overview: Finance Intern
We're excited to offer a learning opportunity for a Finance Intern! This role provides the chance to work within a leading non-profit and gain valuable insight into the financial and operational processes that support our mission. As an intern, you'll gain exposure to finance and operations and make meaningful contributions to our team. We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong sense of initiative and excellent communication skills.

Internship Details

Location: Hybrid role; 2 days per week in our New York City office and 2 days per week remote.
Duration: 8 weeks, from February 10 - April 3, 2025.
Hours: 20 hours per week (paid position).
Key Responsibilities

Support the Finance and Operations teams with administrative tasks related to our fiscal year audit.
Contribute to data integrity projects within our CRM system (Salesforce).
Assist with various administrative tasks, including document scanning and filing.
Engage in special projects and additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For

Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with an interest in finance and accounting.
Tech Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with account reconciliation or Salesforce CRM is a plus.
Mindset: Motivated, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
Interpersonal: Ability to interact professionally with diverse, cross-functional teams.
Flexibility: Comfortable prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic setting, with guidance.
