Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation and execution of monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, ensuring timely completion and distribution to the Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
• In conjunction with the close process, the Senior Accountant will update and reconcile GL accounts including cash, fixed assets, accounts receivable, revenue, prepaids, leases, accounts payable, and accrued expenses.
• Preparation of objectives and key results (“OKR”) incentive schedules on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Work with the Controller to manage external auditors and tax accountants.
• Preparation and review of annual workers comp audit.
• Preparation and submission of quarterly sales tax filings.
• Review corporate AMEX receipts and ensure appropriate general ledger (GL) coding.
• Assist the executive team with fixed asset project management including new club buildouts, club remodels, and club re-equips.
• Work with the Controller and Company Management to improve business performance through analysis of internal and external data, forecasting, planning and ad-hoc analyses. Prepare and/or improve internal management statements to help operating managers run the business.
