Job Description

Our client, a premier roofing company in Newport DE, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This is a temp to hire , full-time position, with the schedule of Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments.
• Contact customers via phone, email, and mail to discuss outstanding balances.
• Generate reports on collection activity and key performance indicators.
• Seeks to improve productivity and results daily.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing disputes and customer inquiries.
• Covers for the Billing Specialist during absences.
• Completes other tasks as assigned by Management.
• Follows all Company safety rules and operating procedures, practices and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of accounting software and collection procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Advanced computer literacy/knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
